In “Captain Kidd” (1945, 90 minutes) notorious pirate William Kidd goes on one last raid before rebranding himself as respectable at the turn of the 18th century. Sleepy Hollow Historian Henry Steiner and Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site manager Michael Lord bring to life the history of the real pirates of the 17th century and the real history behind Captain Kidd, Frederick Philipse and colonial New York.

This program is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. Registration is recommended but not required. Show starts promptly at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00 PM. Museum open 10 am to 5 pm. Refreshments provided by the Friends of Philipse Manor Hall.
