Join us for this Sunday morning Hatha yoga series at Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site! The beautiful sunlit Gothic Chamber is the perfect place for a morning yoga class. This open level Hatha yoga class will help you ease into the body with low-impact, stress releasing movements. Spine lengthening stretches with slow, thoughtful transitions and breath-work gradually build flexibility, strength, and calm. A class for all students, including beginners. Adaptations are available so that everyone can feel comfortable in their own bodies. You will leave having worked your body, calmed your mind and opened your heart.
Instructor: Gilbert Rodriguez
Berto recognized that practicing yoga was changing and centering his life 2 decades ago. After some health issues, yoga became a deeply internal process, enabling him to get much better. Berto's life as a public servant guides him to the healing power of yoga, to a soulful place. “There is an inner awareness, acceptance, and peace I find on the mat, and I’m heartfelt about sharing it with the world”.
