Join us for a tribute to Patriots of the Revolutionary War buried in St. Johns' Cemetery with this special program hosted by Revolutionary Yonkers 250, the Yonkers Historical Society, St. John's Episcopal Church, and Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site.
Yonkers Historical Society Trustee and Historian John McMenimon will lead a walking tour of St. John's Cemetery to highlight and explore the lives and contributions of the Revolutionary War Patriots buried there. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for this tour. This program is free and open to the public.
St. John's Cemetery is located at the intersection of Saw Mill River Road and Axminster Street in Yonkers. The car entrance to this event is through the Oakland Cemetery entrance at the intersection of Saw Mill River Road and Ashburton Ave.
