Celebrate America’s 250th in Fleischmann Pier Park. Musket salute to honor veterans & active duty military. Fife & drum & fiddle. At 6 pm Gen. Washington reads the Declaration of Independence opening words. 250 years ago, on July 9, 1776, he read these words for the first time to the troops in NYC.

Mingle on-board with George & Ben, soldiers & revolutionary women. Play American Revolution Trivia with emcees Benedict Arnold & Major John André. Learn history tidbits from John Farrell, educational coordinator Philipse Manor Hall. Cash bar & lite bites available. Toast to Gen. Washington with a complimentary libation! Period dress & dancing to fiddle music encouraged.
